Looking for a Kids Parkour Teacher

Looking for a Kids Parkour Teacher

Postby InMovement on July 12th, 2009, 11:21 am

Looking for a teacher to teach basic Parkour at InMovement Studio at 8th and Fitzwater in Philadelphia. I had someone teaching but he is going away for a while and the interest is still there. Kids 6-10yrs. Must have prior experience teaching kids and must be reliable and committed to the class. I am a gymnastics instructor with years experience teaching and would be there to assist you. The class is currently scheduled Wednesdays, 4:30-5:30pm but probably could be flexible with changing it for the right person. Have the students, just need the teacher. You can check out www.phillyinmovement.com for more information about InMovement. Reply to this post or email me at info@phillyinmovement.com if you are interested. Thanks! Sara

Hey Sara, this is Gabe Arnold. I'm not in Philly currently but I go to college at Rowan University in Glassboro, NJ, about 30 minutes outside Philly. I won't be back at school till September but I'd be more than happy to teach the classes.

I started the Rowan University parkour group and I've co-hosted a YMCA Healthy Kids Day event so I have at least some good experience with teaching parkour/freerunning and working with children. (I was also a summer camp counselor for four years so I have the patience and desire) If you're still looking for an instructor, leave a reply here or email me. I'm going to send an email to you as well as this post so hopefully we find each other.
